The advocate-on-record for the petitioner undertakes to affirm and properly stamp the petition as per the rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video-conference on the basis of such undertaking. The learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent one, he has been falsely implicated in the present case. Nothing was recovered either from the possession of the petitioner or from his residence. His name was brought only in the statement of the co-accused. Therefore, the petitioner should be enlarged on bail.

Mr. Ghosh, learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and produces the case diary. Further he draws the attention of the court to the seizure list wherefrom it reveals that some documents were recovered from the petitioner's bedroom. Not only that the petitioner was identified in the TI parade.

Having regard to the nature of the allegations and the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to release the present petitioner on bail at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM No.9432 of 2020 is disposed of.
