Mr. Sudarshan Ghosh, ... for the petitioner The grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is directed against the inaction on the part of the respondent no. 3, the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Kultoli, South 24 Parganas, in not disposing of his application in terms of the order date April 12, 2017 passed by the Sub-Divisional Land and Land Reforms Officer, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas.

In view of the enactment of the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal Act, 1997, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition. The petitioner will be entitled to avail of his remedy against the inaction of the respondent no. 3 by approaching the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal within a week from date.

The West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal is requested to dispose of the petitioner's application within two weeks from the date of filing of the same.

The writ petition being WPA 9544 of 2020 is disposed of, accordingly.
