The respondents are not represented today.

The petitioners claim that the private respondents are restraining them from constructing boundary wall at their premises. Proceedings under Section 144 of the Cr.

P. C. have been initiated and the SubDivisional Magistrate, Berhampore, Murshidabad has directed the Beldanga Police Station to take steps in the matter and submit a report. No report appears to have been submitted till date.

Be that as it may, the Officer-in-Charge, Beldanga Police Station shall investigate into the matter and take suitable steps in accordance with law. If it is found that the private respondents have no claim whatsoever in respect of the petitioner's land, Beldanga

Police Station shall provide sufficient police force to the petitioners at the expense of the petitioners to enable them to construct their boundary wall.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
