rkd/ sd 01.12.2020 Ct. No.03 C.R.M. 9473 of 2020 (Through Video Conference) In Re: - An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Panchla P.S. Case No. 78 of 2017 dated 14/03/2017 under Sections 448 /325 /307 /302 /354B /379 /506 /34 of the Indian Penal Code. And In the matter of: - Tapash Makhal ....petitioner.

Mr. R. Sengupata, Mr. S. Talukdar, Ms. R. Rudra ...for the petitioner.

Mr. M. Sur, Mr. D. Paramanick ...for the State.

Having considered the materials on record and bearing in mind the prima facie involvement of the petitioner as the principal assailant and as his prayer for bail was rejected earlier, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
