The petitioner has alleged inaction on the part of the police in the matter of no step being taken on the complaint of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has sought for direction upon the police authorities to initiate criminal proceeding against the respondent no. 7 in terms of the written complaints dated 21.10.2020 and 23.10.2020 being annexures 'P 3' and 'P4'. The report dated 9.12.2020 by the Officer-in-Charge, Chakulia Police Station, Uttar Dinajpur is submitted on behalf of the State by annexing the report for prosecution in the case in which no FIR is used. It appears that Chakulia Police Station, GDE No. 837 dated 29.11.2020 under Section 506 of the IPC was noted and prosecution report has been submitted before the Magistrate for the prosecution of the accused, namely

Anwar Alam under Section 506 of the IPC. Therefore, there is no inaction on the part of the respondent police authority in view of the steps taken against the accused. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits for a copy of the prosecution report that may be supplied to the learned Advocate for the petitioner.

Thus, the writ application being W.P.A. 9608 of 2020 is disposed of.

No order as to costs.
