The petitioner undertakes to appropriately stamp the petition as per the Rules within one month of resumption of normal functioning of the court. The petition is taken up through video conference on the basis of such undertaking.

It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that the petitioner is innocent one. Since he is the husband of the victim girl, therefore, he has been falsely implicated in the present case. He further submits that prior to marriage solemnised between the petitioner and the victim girl there was a love affair

between the victim girl and some other persons. Her parents compelled to marry the petitioner against her will. Therefore, the victim girl without finding any alternative committed suicide by hanging herself. Therefore, the petitioner should be enlarged on bail by this Hon'ble Court.

Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and produces the case diary. He further draws the court's attention to some relevant portions of the case diary wherefrom it reveals that due to regular torture by the petitioner for demand of dowry the wife without finding any alternative committed suicide.

Considering the submissions as advanced by the learned advocates for the parties and after perusing the case diary, in our considered view, this is not a fit case to grant bail.

Accordingly, the application for bail is rejected. The application for bail being C.R.M. 9536 of 2020 is disposed of.
