Earlier, the writ petition was dismissed for default but the same was restored to its original position by an order dated 18.07.2025.

Learned advocate for the petitioners submits that there are disputes between the petitioners and the private respondent(s) and, to that effect, there have been aggressive movements at the behest of the private respondent(s).

Informations, to that effect, were furnished but no steps were taken. Subsequently, an

application under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. was filed before the learned ACJM, Alipore.

Consequent to which, Bishnupur P.S. Case No. 581 of 2020 dated 02.11.2020 was registered for investigation. However, the act and actions of the private respondents continued and there were illegal construction raised at the behest of the private respondents.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Rupsha Chakraborty, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State, is directed to appear on behalf of the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having considered that the representation was advanced before the superior officer of police on 11.11.2020 and substantial time has elapsed since then, if the petitioners face with any further inconveniences, they would file a fresh representation before the superior

officer of police of Diamond Harbour Police District and the concerned officer would consider the representation of the petitioners in accordance with law and inform the out of the same to the petitioners at the earliest.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 9666 of 2020 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
