Apprehending arrest in connection with Kulti P.S. Case No. 377 of 2020 dated 05.11.2020 (G.R. Case No. 2339 of 2020) under Sections 406/407/409/420/467/468 of the Indian Penal Code, the present application has been preferred.

Pursuant to the earlier order passed by this Court on 23rd February, 2021 a bank draft of an amount of Rs.3,64,000/- has been handed over to the Headmistress of Jaladhi Kumari Devi Uchcha Balika Vidyalaya (H.S.) and an acknowledgement to that effect has also been issued by the said Headmistress on 25th February, 2021. The documents to that effect, as produced, be kept on record. As the petitioner has complied with the earlier direction of this Court, we are of the opinion that custodial

interrogation of the petitioner is not warranted in the facts and circumstances of this case.

Accordingly, we allow the application for anticipatory bail and direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner, namely, Banashri Roy shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only), with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 9561 of 2020 is, thus, disposed of.
