Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Statements of witnesses prima facie disclose involvement of the petitioner in the murder of the victim. That apart, trial has progressed considerably.

Under such circumstances, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

We direct the Trial Court to conclude the trial at early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
