Mr. P. P. Das Mrs. Manasi Roy ... for the State Having considered the materials on record prima facie disclosing involvement of the petitioner in subjecting the minor to penetrative sexual assault which is supported by medical evidence, we are of the opinion that in view of gravity of the offence this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trial court is directed to take necessary steps to conclude the trial at an early date preferably within six months from the next date fixed for recording evidence. (Suvra Ghosh, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
