Advocate ... ... for the State Having considered the materials on record disclosing prima facie involvement of the petitioner in causing serious injuries on his wife resulting in hospitalisation which is supported by medical papers, we are of the opinion that in view of the gravity of the offence this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to him.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
