In view of Section 18, 18A of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989, the instant application for anticipatory bail is not maintainable. That apart, there are materials to show that the petitioner had cohabited with a minor and thereafter had refused to marry her. Due to such instigation, she committed suicide. Hence, on merits also we feel that this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail.
