Petitioners Mr. Moloy Dhar, Mr. Biswajit Sarkar ...For the Petitioners Mr. Arindam Sen, Mr. Shibasis Chatterjee ...For the Opposite Party No. 2 In Re : CRAN 1 of 2022 This is an application for restoration. Having regard to the averments made in the application, I am of the view that the reason for non-appearance of the learned advocate for the petitioners on June 7, 2022, has been sufficiently explained. Accordingly, CRAN 1 of 2022 is disposed of.

In Re : CRR 1663 of 2020 It has been submitted by Mr. Dhar, learned advocate appearing for the petitioners that the next date has been fixed on July 19, 2022, for evidence by the learned Magistrate in the Court below. Mr. Dhar also submits that petitioner nos.1 and 2 are old and ailing parents of the husband of the victim lady. He prays for expeditious disposal of the proceedings.

Having regard to the submissions made on behalf of the petitioners, this revisional application is disposed of with a direction upon the learned Magistrate in the Court below to conclude the proceeding being G.R. case no.2060 of 2018 corresponding to Murshidabad Police Station Case No. 405 dated July 3, 2018, under Sections 498A/448/323/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, pending before the learned 2nd Judicial Magistrate, Lalbagh, Murshidabad as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one and half years from date without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.

With this observation, this revisional application being CRR 1663 of 2020 is disposed of.

Let urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
