The allegation in this petition is that there are several hotel establishments which are running without the requisite sanctions and permission and without having due licence.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the representation dated 24.02.2020 has already been submitted to the respondent no.8 i.e. District Magistrate, North 24-Parganas giving the details of such violations and also violators but no action has been taken till now.
Learned counsel for the State fairly submits that there is no objection in considering the petitioner's
representation within a time bound period.
Hence, we dispose of the present petition directing the respondent no.8 to duly consider the petitioner's representation dated 24th February, 2020 and give an opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties, thereafter pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
It will be open to the petitioner to produce all the supporting materials while submitting a copy of this order to the respondent no.8.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
