MAMTA TANTI Mr. Malay Bhattacharya Ms. Minakshi Ghosh ..for the petitioner This is an application for expeditious disposal of the Matrimonial Suit No.1382 of 2017 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 2nd Court at Barrackpore, District North 24 Parganas It appears from the records that the suit has been fixed for framing of issues after reconciliation failed. This Court is conscious of the fact that the suit may not have progressed due to pandemic situation. Now that the normalcy has been restored, in my opinion, justice would be sub-served if the learned Court below is requested to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.1382 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible, without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties preferably within a period of one year from the date of commination of this order.

This order is being passed without considering the merits of the case and the learned Court below will proceed with the matter in accordance with law and on its own merits.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application along with a server copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from date. This revisional application is disposed of.

There will be however no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be given to the parties on priority basis, if the same is applied for. (Shampa Sarkar,J.)
