Statements of witnesses, particularly, the daughter of the deceased implicates the petitioner as the assailant who committed the murder.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that allegations against the petitioner are grave. Having considered the materials on record and in view of the evidence on record and as prayer for bail was rejected earlier on repeated occasions, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus rejected.
