Advocate ... ... for the State We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses disclose role of the petitioners in assaulting the victim. The victim suffered serious head injuries and was hospitalised. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to the grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners stands rejected.
