RAHUL ROUTH Mr. Samir Roy Chowdhury Ms. Radhasree Pathak Banerjee ..for the petitioner This is an application for expeditious disposal of the Matrimonial Suit No.358 of 2017 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, VII Court, District Paschim Medinipur.

It is the contention of the petitioner that the dates have been fixed for peremptory hearing on and from July 10, 2018. It is submitted that the suit has not proceeded since then. This Court is conscious of the fact that due to the pandemic situation, it was not possible for expeditious disposal of the matter by the learned judge. However, as normalcy of the Court has been restored, this application is disposed of with a request to the learned Additional District Judge, VII Court, District Paschim Medinipur to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No.358 of 2017 along with all pending applications, if any, within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order. This court has not gone into the merits of the case.

The period mentioned hereinabove is peremptory. The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application along with a server copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from date. This revisional application is disposed of.

There will be however no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be given to the parties on priority basis, if the same is applied for. (Shampa Sarkar,J.)
