Despite service, none appears on behalf of the respondents.

The petitioner's grievance is that the petitioner, being registered under the corresponding Karnataka Nursing Council, seeks a registration under the West Bengal Nursing Council, as a nurse, under Section 19 of the Bengal Nursing Act, 1934.

Such application is annexed at page-48 of the instant writ petition. The petitioner subsequently sent several communications in that regard. However, the respondent no.3 is yet to accept such application of the petitioner.

In view of the nature of the prayer being innocuous, there is no hindrance in disposing of the matter even in the absence of the respondents.

W.P.A 9867 of 2020 is accordingly disposed of by directing respondent no.3 to accept the application of the

petitioner for being registered with the West Bengal Nursing Council under the relevant statute upon being satisfied as to the same being in form and to decide on the same as expeditiously as possible, positively within a fortnight from the date of communication of this order to the third respondent.

The parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order without insisting upon prior production of a certified copy thereof.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
