The petitioner complains that despite several attempts and also an earlier order of a co-ordinate Bench of this Court directing the respondent No. 3 to supply certified copy of the order passed in Big Rayat Case No. 203 of 85 dated 30th September, 1994, such certified copy has not been received by him till date. It appears that by an order dated 15th December, 2009 in W.P. 17898(W) of 2009 a co-ordinate Bench of this Court directed the respondent No. 3 to supply certified copy of the order passed in Big Rayat Case No. 203 of 85 dated 30th September, 1994 within two weeks from the date of the order subject to completion of necessary formalities by the petitioner including payment of necessary charges.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that as the said order was not complied with, the petitioner

took out a contempt petition against the respondent No.

3. But unfortunately during the pendency of the said contempt petition, the respondent No. 3 (the then Block Land and Land Reforms Officer) expired and the contempt proceedings was dropped. The respondent submits that as the matter pertains to a case of 1994, records are not being traced out despite sincere efforts. On consideration of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent No. 3 to trace out the said records and supply certified copy of the order passed in Big Rayat Case No. 203 of 85 dated 30th September, 1994 to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order subject to compliance of requisite formalities by the petitioner.

W.P.A. 9880 of 2020 is accordingly disposed of. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
