Mr. Arijit Ganguly ... for the State The Court is approached under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking a direction to ensure expeditious disposal of the pending N.D.P.S. case of Learned Additional Sessions Judge cum Judge Special Court, Hooghly, (In Charge) vide N.D.P.S. Case No.28 of 2020. It is submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner that due to non submission of the chemical report, there has been protraction of the trial, and thus, adequate direction may be passed in this case so that the case may be proceeded further with the collection of the chemical report.

Mr. Ganguly, learned advocate representing the State submits that chemical report has already been collected, and the next date is fixed on 14th March, 2021 for consideration of the charge.

When the report has already been collected and the date has already been fixed for consideration of the charge, the instant revisional application may be disposed of, so as to subserve purpose of justice, as proposed to be obtained giving the direction hereinbelow.

Learned court below is directed to make effective utilization of the date already fixed for the purpose, taking support and cooperation of the learned prosecutor conducting the case and proceed with the trial upon framing charge aiming at expeditious disposal of this case, without granting unnecessary adjournment, unless it is extremely unavoidable.

With this direction/observation, the instant revisional application stands disposed of.
