On behalf of the petitioner it is submitted that in spite of supplying certain materials and carrying out work, full payment has not been paid to the petitioner by the concerned authority of Asansol Municipal Corporation. Today Asansol Muncipal Corporation is not represented by the learned advocate.

There is a representation dated 27th December, 2019 filed by the petitioner addressed to the Commissioner of Assansol Municipal Corporation for taking necessary steps to make payment of outstanding dues. However, on perusal of the said representation, it is not clear that which amount has already been paid to the petitioner and what is the outstanding amount which needs to be paid by the Corporation.

In view of the aforesaid facts, leave is

granted to the petitioner to make a comprehensive representation before the Commissioner Asansol Municipal Corporation indicating the bill in connection with which outstanding amount needs to be paid to the petitioner after adjusting the sum which has already been paid to him.

If such representation is made within three weeks from date, the Commissioner of Asansol Municipal Corporation being the respondent No.3 is directed to take decision within eight weeks thereafter after granting opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his representative and reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter.

With the aforesaid observations and directions the writ petitioner stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
