The charges against the petitioner are serious and grave, in fact, dying declaration of the victim implicates the petitioner. Due to pandemic situation, there has been some delay in progress of the trial. However, considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody for one year two months, we request the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial and shall not grant any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties unless there are unavoidable reasons.
