It is pointed out by the learned Additional Solicitor General as well as learned counsel for the petitioners that an appeal has been preferred against the order whereby Rule was issued against the alleged contemnor.

A server copy of the order of the Appellate Court dated November 11, 2024 passed in the said appeal, bearing MAT 2003 of 2024, and the

connected application is handed over to the court by the learned Additional Solicitor General.

It is submitted by both sides that the Appellate Bench has granted an order of stay on the personal appearance of the alleged contemnor on November 27, 2024 and the appeal is now sub judice before the concerned Division Bench.

In view of the pendency of the said appeal and the stay granted, let the contempt application and the Rule stand adjourned till January 10, 2025, when the Rule will be listed next under the same heading. (Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya, J.)
