This is an application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The petitioner is in custody for the last 90 days in connection with an offence under Section 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act read with Sections 66D/66E/85 of Information Technology Act.

Having heard the learned Advocate for both the parties and in consideration of the Case Dairy and in particular the statement of the victim under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., the prayer for bail of the petitioner is considered and allowed.

The petitioner is allowed to find bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties of like amount each; of whom one must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge, 1st Court, Sealdah.

CRM 9929 of 2020 is disposed of.
