For the respondent nos.1, 2 & 3 This is an application under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner is aggrieved by inaction on the part of the respondent authorities in considering the application dated November 19, 2020 with regard to provisional release of goods that have been imported by the petitioner.

I have heard learned Counsel for the appearing parties and perused the materials on record.

I direct the Deputy Commissioner of Customs being respondent no.2 to grant an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a reasoned order within a period of two weeks from date. The reasoned order should be communicated to the petitioner within one week from the date of passing of such reasoned order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.

Since no affidavit-in-opposition is called for, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
