Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the de-facto complainant also opposes the prayer for bail.

Statement of the son of the couple unequivocally state the role of the petitioner in mercilessly assaulting the victim lady resulting in her death. In view of the gravity of the offence and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is thus rejected.
