In this writ petition, petitioner has challenged the impugned action of the respondents blocking the electronic credit ledger of the petitioner vide order dated 17th January, 2020. Being aggrieved by such action, petitioner has made a representation on 22nd January, 2020 before the Superintendent (Anti Evasion), Calcutta as appears from page 28 of the writ petition and grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation is still pending and has not been considered and disposed of by the respondents concerned.

Considering the submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA No.10118 of 2020 is disposed of by

directing the respondents concerned to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation dated 22nd January, 2020 in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and/or his authorised representatives within four weeks from the date of communication of the order and to communicate his decision to the petitioner within one week thereafter. Let it be recorded that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case. The respondent concerned is to consider the case of the petitioner strictly in accordance with law.

The writ petition being WPA No.10118 of 2020 is, accordingly, disposed of.
