Pursuant to the earlier order of this Court dated 5th December, 2023, by which Mr. Siddiqui was asked to take instruction as to whether after expiry of one year from the date of blocking of Electronic Credit Ledger of the petitioner during the pendency of the writ petition, any fresh order of blocking has been passed to which he submits that no such order has been passed.

Considering such submission and in view of Rule 86A of the WBGST Rule, 2017, this writ petition being WPA 10119 of 2020 is disposed of by quashing the impugned order of blocking the Electronic Credit Ledger of the petitioner and in view of quashing of the same, all legal consequence will follow automatically.

It is clarified that this order will not come in the way of any proceeding if it has been initiated against the petitioner.
