Mr. S. Bhattacharya ... for the State Petitioner renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Public Prosecutor submits that bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected on a number of occasions. We have considered the materials on record. There are prima facie materials connecting the petitioner with the alleged crime. That apart, there is hardly any change in the circumstances since last rejection of bail by this Court. In view of gravity of the offence, we are not inclined in granting bail to the petitioner.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.
