The facts of the case are, inter alia, recorded in the order dated 23.02.2021.

Counsel for the petitioner has agreed to pay in the outstanding dues of Rs.32,625/- of the meter standing in the name of late. Kartick Chandra Chatterjee.

Upon payment of such dues and upon compliance with all formalities for new connection, the same may be afforded by the WBSEDCL to the writ petitioner within one month of such payment and compliance.

It is made clear that the writ petitioner shall be entitled to recover the two-third's of the aforesaid sum from the private respondents or against whom such claim would be maintainable in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order on usual undertakings.
