Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the statements of the witnesses recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Petitioner is named along with other accused persons as the assailant of the deceased.

In view of the aforesaid facts, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
