This writ petition has been filed on the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities for not investigating into the complaint following the registration of Hare Street Police Station Case No. 193 of 2020.

Mr. Subhabrata Datta, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the State, submits that police have completed the investigation and a charge-sheet has already been submitted under Sections 420/406 of the Indian Penal Code.

In view of the statements made on behalf of the State, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition.

This writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. ab (Kausik Chanda, J.)
