This is an application praying for expeditious disposal of Matrimonial Suit No. 69 of 2014, pending before the learned District Judge at Alipore. The petitioner submits that there is an order of this court requesting the learned District Judge to dispose of the suit as early as possible.

I find that by the order dated September 12, 2019, this court had directed the learned court below to dispose of the pending applications. Records reveal that no application is pending at the moment and mediation has also failed. Issues have also been framed.

Under such circumstances, this revisional application is disposed of directing the learned court below to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit No. 69 of 2014 along with any applications that may be filed as soon as possible, preferably within a period of one year from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of the revisional application along with the server copy of this order upon the opposite party within 10 days from date.

The revisional application is, thus, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties as expeditiously as possible subject to compliance of all usual formalities.
