The petitioner complains of police inaction. It has been alleged in the complaint before the police authorities that the petitioner cultivated the land in question for the last time in the year 2020. It has been further alleged that the private respondents have illegally taken away the paddy from the land, which the petitioner claims to be the owner in respect thereof. It has been submitted by the learned advocate for the State that on the basis of the complaint made by the petitioner, a prosecution under Section 107 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for maintenance of peace and tranquility in the locality has been submitted. He further submits that the harvesting and grasping the paddy crops has not been substantiated at the time of enquiry.

Since the police authorities have taken steps on the basis of the complaint made by the petitioner, the complain of police inaction is without any basis. In view of it, WPA 10188 of 2020 is dismissed without, however, any order as to costs.
