It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is in custody for over 900 days. There is slow progress in the trial of the case. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that prayer for bail of co-accuseds were turned down. The materials on record implicate the petitioner in the alleged offence of dacoity. Prayer for bail of the co-accuseds were turned down. Under such circumstances, we are of the opinion that this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same without giving any unnecessary adjournments.
