Heard the learned Advocates appearing for the parties. It is contended that petitioners are women folk and have been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the petitioners had absconded for a protracted period of time and the conduct of the petitioners is not commendable.

We have considered the materials on record. In view of the extent of their complicity in the alleged crime and as the injury does not appear to be grievous, we are inclined in granting anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest the petitioners, viz., Chandana Mandal, Usha Rani Mandal, Jalana Mandal and Sulekha Mandal shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- each, with two sureties of like

amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, disposed of.
