Case No.73 of 2020 dated 04.06.2020 under Sections 323/324/326/354 /34 of the Indian Penal Code.

And In the matter of: Madhab Malik ....Petitioner.

Mr. Abdus Salam, Mr. Md. Basir Layek ...for the Petitioner.

Mr. Bidyut Kumar Roy, Ms. Rita Datta ...for the State.

We have considered the materials on record including the statements of witnesses as well as the injury report. The injury does not appear to be grievous. Under such circumstances, we are inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, allowed. The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this court. (Suvra Ghosh, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
