It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is brother-inlaw of the victim housewife and he did not play any role in the murder of the victim.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of the minor girl of the deceased recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Role of the petitioner in the alleged incident of murder and his presence at the place of occurrence is clearly disclosed from the said statement. In view of the aforesaid facts and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
