It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that they have been falsely implicated in the instant case.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record including the statement of witnesses. Witnesses categorically said that the lover of the victim was accosted and money was demanded from his father. Intimate video of the victim girl was taken and she was blackmailed. As a consequence, she committed suicide. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. The parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this court. (Suvra Ghosh, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
