This is an application for expeditious disposal of Matrimonial Suit No.137 of 2019, renumbered as Matrimonial Suit No.16 of 2019 pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 1st Court at Barasat. The petitioner is aggrieved because the matrimonial suit has been pending for sometime. It appears that the suit was filed only in March, 2019. The suit was fixed for reconciliation The suit could not proceed due to the pandemic situation.

Under such circumstances the revisional application is disposed of with a request upon the learned court below to expedite the hearing of the suit after receiving the report of reconciliation preferably with a period of one year along with all pending applications.

The petitioner is directed to serve copies of this revisional application along with server copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from the date of communication of this order. This Court has not gone into

the merits of the case of the petitioner. The learned court below is directed to decide the matter in accordance with law.

The revisional application is disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
