The petitioner complaints that the application for mutating his name in respect of the property situated at Port Blair, South Andaman bequeathed in his favour by the deceased mother is pending adjudication for a long time before the respondent Tehsildar. The petitioner prays for a direction upon the respondent, Tehsildar for early disposal of his application.

It is submitted by Mr. Krishna Rao, representing the respondent that the petitioner's application is likely to be disposed of by the respondent very shortly. In view of the above facts, the writ petition being W.P.A. No.10331 of 2020 is disposed of by directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's application for mutating his name in respect of the property in question on the basis of the will of his deceased mother positively within January 15, 2021.

Since the respondent was not called upon to file any affidavit, the allegations made in the writ petition against him shall be deemed not to be admitted.
