Mr. Md. Anwar Hossain, Ms. Ratna Ghosh ...for the State Petitioner renews his prayer for bail. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that there was a love affair between the parties and he has been falsely implicated in the instant case. Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits that the petitioner had absconded and his prayer for bail was rejected repeatedly.

We have considered the materials on record. Statement of the victim girl shows that she was forcibly abducted and raped. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

Trail court is requested to expedite the trial particularly in the exemption of the victim girl and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
