Accordingly, I draw an adverse inference against the respondent authorities.

, An innocuous prayer is made on behalf of the petitioner with regard to direction upon the respondent authorities to consider the application for a permit in respect of a particular Stage Carriage (at page 12 of the writ petition).

Accordingly, the respondent No.2 is directed to consider the application of the petitioner being annexure P2 (at page 12) of the writ petition within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. After considering the application, the respondent no.2 is directed to pass a reasoned order and communicate the same to the writ petitioner two weeks thereafter. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of.

As a consequence thereof, the connected application is also disposed of.
