Attention of this Court is drawn to the orders passed by the University dated May 27, 2022 and July 25, 2022 which were passed in terms of the order dated June 8, 2022 passed in this writ petition.

It appears that the decision taken by the University does not make the petitioners satisfied. It has been submitted by Mr. Saha Roy, learned advocate for the petitioners that the petitioners' entitlement to the promotional post has not been considered. Mr. Mukherjee, learned advocate appearing for the University argues that the petitioners are not entitled to any promotion but they have been provided with the appropriate fitment in the applicable pay scale.

I am of the view that the decision of Board of Governors cannot be subject-matter of this writ petition. The petitioners cannot challenge the same by way of filing this application.

In that view of the matter WPA 10413 of 2020 is disposed of along with the CAN 1 of 2022 granting liberty to the petitioners to challenge the orders of the University as appearing at pages 18 to 24 of the application, being CAN 1 of 2022.

Needless to mention that the propriety of the said orders has not been examined by this Court.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent certified website copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
