The present application relates to expediting and disposing of hearing relating to Miscellaneous Case No.48 of 2020 under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, which is pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ghatal, District--Paschim Medinipur. None appears on behalf of the petitioner.

Having regard to the prayer which has been advanced and the fact that the application was filed in the year 2020 with specific prayers and reliefs, some of which under the Act are urgent and are to be considered by the court at the earliest. In view of the aforesaid, the learned Magistrate is directed to fix at least one date in respect of the present proceedings on each and every month so that the same can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 1744 of 2020 is disposed.

Connected pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

Department is directed to communicate this order to the
