It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the couple resided at parental home of the deceased and the petitioners did not play any role in their matrimonial life.

Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Statements of witnesses show that the victim housewife was tortured by the petitioners over demand of dowry. As a result she committed suicide within three months of marriage. In view of the gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
