Statements of witnesses show that the petitioners participated in the assault of the victim. As a result of assault one of his eyes was damaged. In view of the gravity of the offence and prima facie involvement of the petitioners in the alleged crime, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
