Heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the parties.

Statements of witnesses disclose recovery of narcotic substance i.e. 946 bottles of phensedyl which is above commercial quantity from the possession of the petitioner. Prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected in December, 2020.

In view of the above, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within six months from the next date fixed before it without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. (Suvra Ghosh,J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
