The petitioner's grievance is that, despite a First Information Report having been registered on April 24, 2020 on complaints made by the petitioner, inter alia, under Sections 498A/406/506 of the Indian Penal Code, no action is being taken by the police authorities with regard to investigation in that regard. Although it is inappropriate to make observations as regards status of the investigation without hearing the authorities, which the police might have undertaken in the meantime, it could not be an impediment in disposing of the writ petition, since pendency of the

writ petition would not enure to the benefit of any of the parties.

Accordingly, W.P.A.

10483 of is disposed of by directing the respondent no.2 to take appropriate steps, so that the investigating officer in respect of the petitioner's FIR, annexed at page 18 of the instant writ petition, takes immediate measures and conclude the investigation on such FIR at the earliest.

The petitioner shall serve a fresh copy of the writ petition, along with a server copy of this order, on respondent no.2 for implementation of this order. There will be no order as to costs.
